Our Proposals

We have submitted our proposals to build and operate a world-class, post-operative physical rehabilitation centre at Rectory Lane in Stanmore to Harrow Council.

The facility – which would be known as Renaiss Health, Stanmore- will provide tailored physical therapy programmes and high-quality, short-term accommodation for people who are preparing for, or have gone through elective surgery, or who require support with physical mobility restrictions.

Working closely alongside existing providers of outpatient services, GPs and acute hospitals, Renaiss Health, Stanmore will complement and enhance existing options for patients recovering from clinically related conditions.

The centre has been carefully designed to be sympathetic to, and reflect the existing character and heritage of the local area.

Accommodation is provided in 58 en-suite bedrooms, which have been carefully designed with mobility and care requirements in mind. The team will include an on-site doctor, qualified nursing team, and highly skilled therapy team – including physiotherapists, aqua therapists, and occupational therapists on hand to provide a range of innovative and technology-enabled treatments and rehabilitation services for those in need of care.

Facilities will include an innovative and technology-enabled hydrotherapy pool suite, dedicated physiotherapy department with gym and consulting rooms, occupational therapy suite, and outdoor therapy space in the grounds of the centre.

Alongside the centre’s ability to provide much-needed physical rehabilitation services within the London Borough of Harrow, the development will also deliver wider public benefits by creating employment opportunities, bringing a disused site back into active, beneficial use, and delivering wider economic benefits.
